like is everything the same as it once was. or do you get nervous and feel weird and want to avoid the other person. do the guy treat you with less respect and is less interested. are they more likely to dump you. do they pay you less attention?

it depends if they love you or just using you. If a guy loves you , he'll treat you with respect and will take you to nice places even after sleeping with him. On the other hand if there is no plan for future he might turn into a jerk... so be ready !!! and smile....

if the relationship has time to be a relationship 1st then there is a good foundation existing that will only enhance the sex. If the relationship is bad then believe me it only gets worse after sex.
Spend a while getting to know each other like at least a few weeks if not a few months before sex. in any case you can talk to a guy and he will always tell you (though not directly) what he is up to in the 1st 2 hours of talk.

If they are in love with the girl, they will be more attentive.
If not, they will avoid the girl at all costs because they only wanted to use her. Or they will treat her with indifference, like she never existed. Even worst, some guys can humiliate her in front of others.

Once they get what they want, they don't treat you with the same respect. They figure there is no reason to take you out to nice places because all they want is to get you in the sack and have their fun. Once you give it up they won't work to please you anymore.
