we've been dating for a year & are well known as a couple ... but we haven't met each others parents ... he calls me before work, after work, before he goes out, and when he gets home (all on his accord) ..... he's very consistant .... does this means he serious and I'm marriage material?

don't worry about parents... he migh not have a good relationship with them....It is kind a weird though that you known him for over a year now and still haven't met the parents. Maybe you should suggest that you would love to meet his parents and see his reaction... On the other hand , I know some people who met the parents at wedding.... If it's bothering you talk to him and suggest that you meet them . Why don't you invite them over for dinner etc...It's a good way to find out if he is really worth waiting for.

Take the initiative and take him to meet your parents. If he reciprocates, you've got new material to work with. If he's content with the status quo, then tell him where you'd like things to go. You haven't given him a reason to change gears. It's time to fish or cut bait.

does your family live in town? does his?? why not suggest a dinner out with your family or his?? maybe he's not sure you'd be interested in meeting them ... i would put the feeler out there ... as for marriage material ... that just depends on the two of you & your feelings for one another ...
