You can post them on petfinder.org, or contact your nearest Sheltie rescue group, who will help you. Just Google "Sheltie Rescue" and you'll find something, good luck.

Don't take them to a shelter. Do what you can to place them in homes.
Highland has a no kill sh-t shelter. The place smells so bad no one wants to adopt from there and they won't take your dogs anyway cause they aren't "Highlanders".

Contact Fay Fults at 618-345-5899 or fflcf@charter.net

Fay is an obedience instructor (Belle City Kennel Club) who may be able to direct you to a sheltie rescue in the pocahontas area. She knows a lot of dog people. Tell her your problem and maybe she can steer you in the right direction.

Sorry, but if you love them so very much you would find a way to keep them with you.
Anyway, check on the web for a sheltie rescue that may be willing to take them. They will go above and beyond what a shelter does to find them good, FOREVER, homes.

On Petfinder.com, they list local shelters & rescues. I do not know where Pocahontas, IL is located.

If you love them so much, find a way to take them with you instead of abandoning them.
