and i hated how people treated me as a blonde, so now i want my old hair back, the new one makes me depressed, like, really depressed...and i have the money to dye it back, i earned it over the summer, but my mom thinks that it won't work, would it work if i dyed it back, or would i have to go to someone to do it. and if i would have to go and have someone do it, would it be like color correction? and doesn't color correction take forever?

This would need to be done very carefully. You must go to a salon !

We always want what we dont have, but it is a good lesson to learn! Be thankful for what god gave you! I am sure you are a beautiful blonde. The only thing you can do is to ride it out putting all those chemicals on your hair will fry it. Call a local hair cutting place and ask them what you should do. You cant go from one extreme to the other without harming your hair. I would let the color die down for atleast six to eight weeks then maybe pick a bleach color you like. But again ask a professional what color you should put back on your hair. I promise your hair will get back to normal.

Yes go to the salon. If you have a color deposited on your hair now then you will probably have to have the stuff sit on your hair the whole day just to strip the black color off. Damaging. Then you have to get the blonde color added.. even more damaging. If you want less damage start off with highlights. and work your way up slowly.

First of all you will need to remove the black color...with a color stripper availiable at any beauty supply store....then color the blonde you want....it's alot to do to your hair chemically speaking so be sure to throughly condition afterwards...Good Luck

you should probably go slow--take it back w/gentle color to medium brown, then sandy blonde, and then color it back to blonde. be sure to keep on using that conditioner and gentle shampoos. Don't brush it real hard or anything. you might want to get a hairdresser's help w/this. good luck.
