always have sex with children. you never hear about jewish rabbis or or muslim preists having sex with children. only christians. why is this????

Why do you think that all Christian priests always have sex with children. don't they take time off to say mass?
But, seriously folks, I believe the incidence of child molestation among Catholic priests is because they are put upon to be sexless. Unlike Muslim, Jewish, and other types of Christian clerics, Catholic priests are not allowed to marry. This is unnatural and just might be the cause of the perversion.

There are things hidden in all religions--the degree of filth practiced has a lot to do with Christian teachings. To emphasize the uniqueness of Christ that some have coined as the "Greatest Man that ever lived" please note the respected historian Will Durant argued: "That a few simple men(Bible writers)should in one generation have invented so powerful and appealing a personality, so lofty an ethic and so inspiring a vision of human brotherhood, would be a miracle far more incredible than any recorded in the Gospels."
Mahatma Ghandi , a Hindu stated of Jesus 'I love Christ, but I despise Christians because they do not live as Christ lived.'
So when religions go contrary to the Bible in any major teaching or view etc. there is indeed breeding ground for atrocites & perversion. As clearly stated in the Scriptures, marriage is a holy thing--thus for religion to restrict it, plays into hands of God's adversary as stated at:
*** Rbi8 1 Timothy 4:1-3 ***
4 "However, the inspired utterance says definitely that in later periods of time some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons, 2 by the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, marked in their conscience as with a branding iron; 3 forbidding to marry, commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be partaken of with thanksgiving by those who have faith and accurately know the truth."
Please note vs.1& 3 --this indeed is not Biblical doctrine or principle--this teaching is influenced as stated. So with such ideas you have a hot-house of immorality that can dominate.

Are you asking who can best keep a secret, or are you saying that anyone can claim to be anything? Are sexual offenders more likely to claim to be Christians than would claim to be Jewish Rabis? This I don't know, but you seem to already have the statistics.

Sex with children is not the monopoly of Catholic priests - but then the vow of celebacy often works against them.

I think that it's simply because those are the stories that the media choose to report. I'm sure that child molesters come from a number of religious backgrounds.

Catholics are priests,
Christians are pastors. two different religion's. And why. Because they are not allowed to get married and they do not learn right from wrong I think.
