If they define themselves by their religion (meaning they're continually spouting religious nonsense and trying to convert everyone around them), I'm happy to oblige their desire to be defined by their religion and do the same.

Otherwise, by their ACTIONS. I have no idea what anybody besides me is like "inside," and neither do you. Everyone puts some kind of "public face" on that they show to others, and nobody is even capable of showing their true inner selves to anyone else. We can only see what others are by what they present to the world -- we see more of that if we know them very well or intimately, but we still don't know all of what they think or feel.

We are not to judge anyone. I think just by spending more time with them will let you know how you honestly feel about this person. One day at a time makes a heart get stronger. So a persons inside would be the correct answer. Also we cannot judge a book by it's cover. A good heart is better them good looks. Don't get me wrong good looks helps(lol).

Although I disagree with some religions I would never judge a person on their beliefs of religion. You cannot see inside a person to make a judgement either so you only judge their actions.

It is not our job to judge anyone we are to treat everyone just like we want to be treated. Its Jesus job to do the judging not ours we all should look at other people for who they are which is a child from God and respect them because when it comes to religion no one is right and no one is wrong

Usually who they are on the inside goes hand in hand with their religion. I try not to judge anyone superficially, and even if I don't like someone I never say that they're a completely bad person.

I dont think it's fair to judge anybody. In my day to day life I treat everyone equally- with polite-ness and respect. I choose friends from every corner of the world and every religion. I think judging people is wrong.

You shouldnt really judge a person at all, as we are all the same behind that fragile wall called a personality that was built brick by brick by the judgements of others.

I don't know how they are in the inside. I can only judge how I and others are treated.

Who's right is it to judge? Why would you need or want to?

How would you like to be judged? Character or religion?

We shouldn't be judging anyone. That is God's job. But we should choose our company based on who they are inside.
