I prefer a man that is respectful, level headed, mature, intelligent, smart and also with a sense of humor. Where I come from, machismo is part of the culture and I deplore it. Too many women have paid dearly with their lives because of these machismo thing. A man can be very masculine without being a "macho".

yes but not too sensitive or needy. women are not meant to be mothers to their partners, we are supposed to be looked after and supported, well in an ideal world all men love to be mothered and too many women do it. once in a while i wantto be picked up in strong arms and be cared for so macho and sensitive good but here has to be a balance

No, it's great if a guy is a little bit of trouble. Macho is ok if it is maculine but sensitvity is something I don't want to see too much of.

I prefer a man who is head strong. I don't like guys that are sensitive. It doesn't seem masuline to me.
