Me and him have 9yrs and 4months together....but hes done somethings...so that has me thinking alot....he tells me that he loves me and that he wants to be with me for the rest of his life...how can I be so sure he wont do me dirty again and its saying the truth?

if he wants to be with you for the rest of his life then ask him why he hasn't married you yet? If he jumbles up the answer then you know other things are going though his mind.

My boyfriend and I have been in the same situation but not for the same amount of time. I mean i think guys hate to hear all the things they did wrong but if it bugs you that much ask him tell him that you want the same thing he wants but you're not willing to go through with it if he hurts you again. i mean the only way to know he's in love with you is a combination of words and actions if the words are there are the action isn't it's most likely something to think about. But it says and shows you he loves you then you don't have anything to worry about. let it go and if you love him then there's no reason why you shouldnt be together forever. Also I believe someone above me mentioned why 9 years equals no marriage it depends if that is something important to you. I don't need a witness to prove to me that my boyfriend loves me, and marriages just added pressure that a lot of people cant deal with so a potentially great relationship could go south after tying the knot. Basically i'm just saying unless having the title of being married is important to you then I wouldnt make that a determining factor into whether or not someone loves me.

Every one makes mistakes. 9 1/2 years is alot of time to invest in another person. My guess is you know him pretty well by now. I think you are the best person to assess his feelings for you. Your gut won't lie. You could always talk to him about your insecurities. Most inappropriate behavior in a relationship has little to do with the other person, these are his insecurities he's acting out or maybe he's accustom to you and has neglected to value you lately. Talk to him and don't take his behavior personally. You cannot control another person. These are his choices, not yours. But, you can and should express your feelings and concerns. A man that loves you will listen and adjust his choices to show his feelings are genuine and heartfelt.

Have children ?
GO on vacation without him and tell him you need some time to think. See what happens....suido break up with him... but seriously WHat do YOU want?
