Yes you are heavy.
Cut down on your food portion sizes and cut out junk food, fatty and sugary foods. Eat fruit and veg and drink plenty of water. Exercise (start with walking and build up gradually) every day. This will help get the weight off and keep it off.
I have lost 65lbs since July doing that and using the GI Diet by Rick Gallup....;

Hi Brownie: I think you have reason to be concerned and maybe 40-50 lbs. to drop. You didn't say if you were male/female; and what age; but, generally, you should be on a reasonable calorie intake program with moderate exercise. You don't have to do anything drastic. Fruits, veggies, no junk, no sodas, lo-fat proteins like chicken and fish (no, not fried). The best thing you can do for yourself is get educated about nutrition and get a friend to give you some support. I'm sure there is someone else around who would love to improve their health! I would suggest you start with reading Sugar Busters diet; or the Exchange diet that is used by diabetics but anyone can use in a healthy manner. If you have a school nurse/coach, perhaps they can point you in the right direction. You're very brave for putting yourself out there! Good luck and godloveya.

Yes, you need to drop about 60-70 pounts
Cut caloric intake by 500 calories a day
Cut out all junk food and sodas
Increase raw vegetables and water.
exercise at least 30 minutes a day 5 days a week
If you are diligent, you could lose that weight in a year

Yes, Brownie, you are big- far too much so.
Cut out seconds, junk food, fast food, and most if not all sweets. Also cut out most fried food..
Instead, add lots of extra fruits and vegetables, whole grain breads, and some fish instead of red meat. Believe me, those are quite tasty! And try steaming, baking, and broiling instead of frying. You'll actually get more of the taste of the food.
Drink lots of water and tea instead of sodas.
Get exercise. Mild walking for a start, then when you start feeling stronger stretch out a bit.
You'll feel better, and you'll feel better about yourself.
Good luck!

Alright, I don't know if you're a woman or man, but either way you might be a little big. Research "height weight charts" and click on any promising-looking link. If I was too brutal, I'm sorry.

You're a little heavy for your height but you Can do something to fix this yourself.I was 260lbs at 6ft. tall and I lost 80lbs. with disciplined eating and excercise. The only real way to lose weight is to burn off more calories than you put in. good luck. You can do it.

I wish I could get back to 190. I'm exactly the same height as you and I'm not telling.

if you are concerned about your weight, you should talk to your doctor or a nutrionist & get their opinion. if you don't have the time/money for that, then become a member of a gym and get a personal trainer (this is no extra cost @ the ymca). you need someone who knows you and can work with you to become healthier.
