It is multiple choice where it will ask you to choose the correct answer from a choice of 4. Sometimes it will ask you to mark 2 or 3 correct answers with 6 choices.

there is two parts to a theory exam.
first you do a multiple choice question, where you pick one (or however many the question requires) answer out of four other possible answers. i.e
what is the national speed limit?
a)60mph
b)30mph
c)40mph
d)70mph
and you get my drift.
now theres about 35 questions i believe.. you must answer 30 to pass, any less and you'll fail.
the second part is called hazzard preseption where they'll show you several clips and you point out the hazzard. click too much and you fail.
check out dsa sites.

They are multiple choice questions. Some you only give a single answer, but a few contain 2 or 3,depending on the question.
Read through your Highway Code, and you will find the answers in there.

yes most are multiple choice, the hazard perception test is great, and pretty easy.dont be fooled with the theory test though, there are some very unexpected questions on there, tyre pressure, safety features etc,its not all about road signs and speed limits etc.i got caught out the first time and failed.

they are multiple choice, dead easy if you do the prep before your test, you can do buy a disc to help you out or do a search for an online test that you can practice on.
