I'm not so sure there is a way to make it go away in a few hours. But there are ways to lessen the symptoms.
Drink hot drinks such as teas, bouillon, or hot lemon and honey.
Use zinc lozenges to help with your throat and soothe your cough.
Use steam: That will help with the congestion. There have been a few times when I had bronchitis, and that was the only thing that would clear my stuffy nose and stop it from running.
And at the first opportunity- SLEEP.
Good luck, and feel better.

drink 2 litres of water to flush it out. Also there is this other thing my sister used to do to me with a sauce bottle up the nose with saline. felt like i was drowning so be care full! but from memory Id lay on my side and shed squirt it up my nose and it comes out through your mouth. sounds grosser than it actually is and works straight away. Also you van swallow a whole clove of fresh garlic although depending on how you are travelling i wouldn't get to close to anyone after this as your breath will be not so nice for a few hours!

I don't think you can get rid of it, but I think boiling water and inhaling a little of the steam (don't keep yourself over the steam- you'll suffocate) will clear out your nose for a few hours.

You wont make it go any faster. All you can do is take meds to combat the symptoms...;
