Twenty minutes per pound, and twenty minutes more to heat through. This is the general rule, for an unstuffed turkey. You can cover it if you are worried it will be too dark, but leave it off the last half hour or so. Bake at 325-350F. Here is a link to help with your questions:

Cook Your Turkey 20 minutes per pound,(general rule for unstuffed turkey)- Loosely covered with foil. If you are using the oval roasting pan, you can use the lid to cover. Also, to help keep the turkey moist and tasty, baste it. Melt butter(1-1/2 cubes) add 2-3 tablespoons soy sauce, seasoning salt & pepper to taste. Next, use a spoon or basting brush to apply the butter mixture to the skin of the turkey Make sure to cover all of it, you should have some butter mixture left over. You will want to apply that about every hour until your turkey is done. Uncover turkey for the last 20 minutes.. Happy Holidays!

I've always trusted my best cookbook which says 20 minutes per pound (include the weight of your stuffing also)and bake at 325º to 350º fahrenheit.
Cover for 2/3 of the cooking time (with either top of roasting pan or cooking foil, remove for the last 1/3, and allow turkey to brown.
20 min X 10 lbs. = 3 hours 20 minutes (don't forget to add the weight of your stuffing (say 1 lb. = 20 minutes more)...

one hour for every 4 pounds, even if it isn't stuffed. To keep it juicy, i would suggest baking it in a bag instead with foil. If you use foil, you might as well fry it, at least it would be crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Good luck cooking!

325 degrees (Fahrenheit), 15 minutes per pound. Cover it loosely with foil. Uncover it for the last half hour or so to brown.
