That is mostly possible.
Six thousand years ago we thought that the world was a huge palace with small streams below and tiny stars on the roof.
200 years ago, we have counted about few thousand big stars.
Now we say that the universe is immense, but we don't really realize how tiny is that immensity.
Yes, we keep on learning to broaden our vision.

honestly it must be, because all the stars up in the sky are actually suns in another galaxy, meaning that there must be life somewhere out there. also with area 51, everything is kept secret. it must be secret because people will be scared off their wits.
