Yes, it does bother me. It's because the weight of your top leg constricted blood vessels in the bottom leg, trapping the blood in one area and causing the red spot.

the pressure of the leg doesnt let the blood flow on that area while the leg is crossed; when you uncross it the blood rushes through those little blood vessels all at the same time and thats what makes that area red. i hate when that happens

omg! that happens to me all the time. It bugs the heck out of me! Gosh, I duno why it happens, maybe the pressure of one leg against the other causes the redness kind of like if you lay your forehead on your arm. But I really don't know, but I stopped wearing short skirts for a while because I thought I was the only person who got them! hehehe.

It's red because your other leg was pressing there. Skin always gets red after something presses on it. It goes away after a few minutes.
I don't wear short skirts.

when you cross your legs a small part of your legs are the only parts that hold the weight after sitting there for awhile the blood gets brought to the surface because your body thinks you got hit there much like why a red place appears when you get slapped but since I don't wear dresses (well once on a 100.00 bet I wore one to school with my hair in curls, but that was when I was young foolish and broke) I don't have to worry about such things

I don't know why it occurs, but it does get on my nerves after uncrossing my legs.. it is so aggrivating.. and makes me so self-concious! it bothers me so much when I wear short skirts...
