I wanted to know how I can reduce a digital photo's size offline? Is there any free software to download?

You can use a freeware program called PIXresizer from

Microsoft have a nifty tool for resizing pics:

scroll down to Image Resizer.

Also the newer versions of MS Paint have a 'stretch/skew' function.

If you want more control over the quality etc you'll want to go for something more powerful tho.

You can use windows paint, just open up the picture go to edit, select all, then cut. Then go back to edit select all and then paste... you can then move the sizing handles but make sure to move the sizing handles on the white area too or you will have white space in your picture.

u can do it by any image editor....like mspaint, windows photo editor, , microsoft photo editor...and these are installed in any ms operating system automatically....just open the photo into this software and go to image and resize it...
