Well if the cat has an illness the cat could only live to be a day old. Well a cat normally can live to be about 15. Some cats live longer Sometimes over 20 year. So somewhere between 15-20. Give or take a couple of years.

15 to 20 years is the typical lifespan of a well cared for spayed or neutered cat that gets nutritious food and periodic medical attention. This is assuming it's an indoor cat or indoor outdoor cat in a "cat-safe" environment. Barring tragedy. Outdoor only unaltered animals that don't get proper care have much shorter lifespans.

Our cat lived to be 20 when I was little. She finally gave in to kidney disease, a common killer of older cats. Currently my mom's cat is 16 and shows no signs of ill health.
The life expectancy of an outdoor cat is much lower than indoor because of possible exposure to FIV, feline leukemia, rabies, bacteria, idiots with slingshots, etc.
