My boyfriend invited me to go to church with him and I went with him and his grandma and sister to church, but he didn't introduce me to anyone. Why do you think that is so? This is my first time at the church too.

I had dressed appropriately too. He knows everyone there at the church perfectly and he attends church all the time.

Wow, If I were you I would sit him down and express how I felt about that situation and tell him that it can't happen again. Don't be to aggressive with him though, you don't want to push him away. Explain to him that when he does stuff like that then it makes you feel like he isn't proud that your his girlfriend. Just let him know how you feel, otherwise he might not know he's doing something wrong. Remember communication is the key to everything.

(1) Is he shy, rather withdrawn around crowds? I'm thinking maybe he felt awkward introducing you to the church as his girlfriend.
(2) There's a good possibility there's an ex-girlfriend in the congregation and he only took you along to make her jealous.
(3) Just ask him and judge his response for yourself.

It is possible that he rarely goes to church, or is not in the habit of socializing when he does go. In that case, maybe he just didn't know anyone, to whom he might introduce you.

donot take it too personally he may just be rude. Some \ people do not realize that introducing is polite. Some people are shy about it as well. If you going to be with him you will most likely need to get use to introducing yourself .

It sounds to me like he is either very young or raised with no manners. Either way if he did not introduce you I would say something to him and let him know how I felt about everything that happened.

ha! been there! and guys are just so weird sometimes! my guy knows like everyone in this city somehow and he would hardly ever introduce me to any of his friends, not to be rude or anything, but sometimes he just forgot. So maybe your guy just forgot. or maybe he didn't want to put you on the spot. or maybe he intended to act rudely.

If you guys are young I bet it just didn't occur to him to introduce you. You should tell him it's rude to bring someone somewhere with him and not introduce him/her to the people he knows over there.

Maybe he thought it would embarrass you. Or maybe he didn't want people to think he was showing off (say there are other guys there).

a few reasons:
1. he didn't think to introduce you
2. he lacks manners
3. he is embarassed and didn't want to talk to no one and try to explain who you are
