Not at all common.
My theory is, why would someone give you more drugs than you paid for? Just to mess with you?
I've been around the block a few times and have never smoked weed laced with PCP by accident or on purpose.

Wow, now there is a question. I came across it by accident and it was not cool. Its called "LoveBoat" if I recall correctly and someone told me you can tell by looking at the bottom of the bag for white crystals. I wouldn't use that as a fail-safe measure though. Over the years I've encountered it a few times but its always been known that PCP was in there (other than the first time). Honestly, I'd avoid it.

I did find some fun facts though:
Some drug users claim they dip marijuana or tobacco cigarettes in embalming fluid (known as "loveboat" or "dippers") to enhance the high. While these users believe that what they are smoking has been treated with formaldehyde, researchers speculate that this fluid is actually PCP, sometimes referred to as "embalming fluid," or formaldhyde cut with PCP. Some who use loveboat experience effects very similar to the effects of PCP, including delusions, difficulty concentrating, and agitation. It is difficult to substantiate these suspicions, and researchers have called for further analysis.12

Are you talking about, Sherman, Water, Lovely, Wack, Dust, Angel Dust, Dippers or the other multitude of other names for this mind destroying menace?

That garbage was very popular in the late seventies and early eighties. I thought the number of wack patients walking around proved to everyone PCP was not one to be touched.

When I was a teen 30+ years ago, it was very common for it to be laced on Pot Joints.

No way to answer that, but it does happen sometimes. Marijuana can be laced with all sorts of other drugs, such as LSD or PCP.

Not that common and never wasted on random bags. It is a specialty sale that the buyer expects. Lot of urban legends say weird stuff, but that's the real market analysis.

Any time you buy on the street you are putting yourself at risk of having your drugs laced with anything.
