"Dope" is a term used with many substances. However, for the sake of this question, I will refer to dope as being cocaine, primarily because of the way that it effects me.
Once before, crack cocaine was processed with ammonia or sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and water. Lately, dope dealers are going scientists, believing adulterants will enhance the effect of cocaine and lacing it with caffeine (in Miami), chalk, laundry detergent, and rat poison (in Memphis), meat tenderizer (in Boston), baby laxatives (in Baltimore and Memphis), and talcum or baby powder (in Billings, El Paso, and Washington, D.C.).
As if cocaine (crack) isn't bad enough, alone, it is strongly recommended that extreme caution be used when purchasing one of these substances. Doing so, just might make the difference between life and death.
Hope this answers your question!
