I heard that biking on a life cycle or a bike where your more horizontal and laying out straight for 2 miles is equal to running 1 mile. Is this true?

Not sure about the equality of cycling vs running. I don't run, I only cycle. Either way you get your heart rate up and keep it there for awhile is good.

In my opinion, running a mile is equivilant to biking 6 miles. keep in mind that this is using all your energy.
