Not if your under 18. If you are he could be considered a child predator.

So, he is in his early 20's? As long as you are older then 18... If you are like 15 or 16 and he is 21 or 22, I wouldn't...

sigh... I'm assuming by your obvious omission of your exact age that you are not yet 18? Generally speaking, this is a mistake. You're too young, and he could be arrested for statutory rape. Frankly, I would wonder why a guy in his 20s needs to be with a teenager... unless you're 18 or 19 and out of high school.

If you're not even mature enough to provide the exact age of you and this guy, then you're not ready for this at all. He's too old for you, and it's still highly questionable why he is persuing someone who is still in high school.

Our you jail bait?
If you two feel comfy around each other and you are not jail bait why not? Of course if he is into going into bars and drinking that nasty alcohol, remember this is something you will be unable to do. I am sure there are other activities you are not yet old enough for.
My man is older then I but I am also quit a bit older then you are.
Just keep your wit about you, treat him like any other guy who is older and wants to date a teenager....

Are you in your late teens or early teens, it makes a big difference. Also, you don't date someone over 18 if you're under 18. You could get him in trouble. Try to remember that.

at your age, even with out telling us, I'd say no. I'm 36 and my girlfriend is 27, that's 9 years, but a whole lot different than at your age. Your both into exploring, but on different levels, he's out of school or past that stage, and not of minor age, below 18 that is. Again I'd caution against it.

I would have to know this guy better to have a good answer. Does he seen like a good guy? Do you feel strongly about him?
But not knowing they guy, I'd say six years is too much of an age difference concidering your age. But if you where like 22 and he was 28, it would be fine...

6 years isn't any issue. Ive dated adult men of their 1930s and Im 18. I say purely ask her out. ANd if shes no longer the brightest gal, she could desire to easily be attracted on your intelectual conversations. 18 is nice! ask her out! women folk improve up swifter than adult men so good success!

It really depends where in your teens you are. If you are under 16 then no you should not be hanging out with him you are to young to have an older boyfriend.
