"Nothing is certain except death and taxes"
Death is a one sided affair. The only way anyone can define it is by how they (the living) are affected by death. Other then that it comes down to science. What physically happens to a body after it has ceased to be alive. The rest is a mystery, and you will never know because it is not a first hand experience kind of a thing.

Some are sent back, because it wasn't their time, but they don't want to come back, once they feel the Love and peace on the other side, and the many Spirits that know you, either from this life or another time.... there's so much Love and knowledge that we here cannot comprehend, but we start to understand very fast as soon as we cross the line, to feel the Love, the music..... just to much for us here, and so advance there as the light embraces us to heaven.

without life there can be no death and without death there can be no life. all that is born must die. death will take one from this plane of existence to another plane of existence where one will start another adventure. we will eventually all be called to fulfill the destiny of our race when our agenda on this plane has been completed.

Death is the thing that all humans fear. It is like a black demon come to remove all that you hold dear. Unstoppable, Death sweeps through the world like a plague, and no one is immune to its deadly grip. No one. No survivors. Death always has the last word. It is as cold as ice and lifeless.
If you referred to the afterlife, well, that's a different story.

Nothing except how to inflict it, and the suffering it brings to the loved ones of the deceased. Oh and the fact that it is inevitable.

I thought about the actual dying and not being able to breath. I bet that's horrible. I'm not frightened of being dead its just that feeling of dying when you wont be able to breath that scares me.

you go cold and stop breathing. your heart stops and your brain ceases to function (the "brain ceasing to function" seems to happen to a lot of people who follow the bible long BEFORE they die, so you can't count on just THAT as your determination of death)
