pups are just like little kids! Full of energy! Trying to figure it ALL out ... and hard to get to sit still!
I would take a ball ( do you have a tennis ball?) or you could make something close - take 1 big old sock and stuff it with 1 or 2 others. knot the top. now you have a tug toy to play with him.
no chewing on you! offer the sock .... drag it along the floor until he pounces...
gently tug! easy - you don't want to scare him! once he gets interested in the sock - you can give little tosses and he should want to chase it.
and like little kids - he will get tired and need a nap!

Just be prepared to laugh and have a good time! That is what puppies are most famous for...you may wanna bring a camera to capture all that fun! have a great time!

Because if they havent had a motherly figure to raise them up like they do in the wild, they dont know how to act. this sillyness should end when they grow older due to trial and error from what they do.
