Suppose this: You cheat on your significant other and feel remorse for your loss of self control. You want to talk with him/her about what you did, even if you know the relationship could end by admitting to it. But your mate doesn't react with anger or even tears, he/she just casually packs his/her stuff and leaves, or packs your stuff and pushes you outside with them. No words in response, no looks of hatred, just a dispassionate response and the total ignoring of you.

Would that make you feel worse or better than if he/she screams at you with personal insults with and expression of great pain written all over his/her body?

That would make me feel worse, and that's probably how I'd go about it if I was in a situation where my S.O. cheated on me. I probably wouldn't say a thing. I know that if it happened to me I probably would be devastated considering their lack of emotion would be my doing and what I would be expecting. It would also hurt more because that's the most obvious way of shutting the door and ignoring.

people don't always yell, call names , show anger or hurt by crying . Some leave quietly . some never try to get back with the other.
It is being hurt deeply .
It also can be that the other doesn't care ..
I would prefer the silent leaving . it is better than cussing /calling names and leaving in anger.

Means they have had enough of you,and aren't going to give you the satisfaction of seeing them upset.Or they could care less if you are gone.Either way sounds like you have more flaws in your character than this one instance conveys.

well , i see it like this

somebodys body parts went with somebody elses body parts

why did it happen?

if you care about somebody you stay and ask about it. see why. see whats left. see if its gonna happen again or not. why. If you care about somebody you don't kick them out. Or ask them to go. You find out what is happening and why.
