Since Hawaii is considered the US, you children won't need anything. You would need some sort of ID though. Driver's license will work.

Oh my goodness. Honey...listen. I am a resident of the Big Island of Hawaii. Just to let you know... Hawaii is one of the 50 states. Its the 50th. And no, we don't run around in little grass skirts and coconut bras, live in grass huts and do the hula all day. You don't need a Birth Certificate for your kids!

P.S. If you've read your other answers: Its "Mauna" Loa not Mona Loa. I'm not trying to be mean, but the Hawaiian people really are sensitive about people saying and spelling their words wrong.

Have a nice trip.

According to American Airlines you MAY have to present birth certificates to prove your childrens ages. I would check with your airline. I think if your children are small you probably wont have a problem. Anyone over 18 has to have a legimate photo ID.

Hawaii is one of the United States. Unless you are not an American citizen you won't even need a passport.

No. Since Hawaii is one of the United States, you have theoretically not left the "States". (Have a good trip, and give my regards to Mona Loa!)
