None are very good for your hair or your scalp. Try Redken. I got a very BAD case of dandruff by using cheap OTC shampoos. I ask a beautician once what I could do to get rid of it. He suggested trying Redken. It cleared up my dandruff. I don't use OTC shampoos anymore. They dry my scalp and dull my hair too much. I don't use one kind all the time either. I use Paul Mitchell, sometimes, from the beauty shop, not from OTC, they're not the same. Always get your shampoo from a beauty shop. They are much better for your hair and scalp.

Pay attention to fr3aky_lb up^there, she knows what she's talking about. All those other shampoos have harsh chemicals in them. I'm no beautician, but I know what harmed MY scalp. I can't use anything that is Herbal, it makes bumps on my scalp.

Pantine is the worst for your hair...my friend is a hair stylist and says that is actually does more damage than good.

The others are not so good either, but.....if i were to choose...Herbal Essences.

Two words: Herbal Essences. Don't believe what others may say; "Its so cheap, buy expensive professional shampoos because they make your hair so much better!" Blah blah blah. Herbal Essences gives your hair just as good a treatment as the expensive brands, and they use really natural products in it to give your hair more nutrients and vitamins.
Hope this helps...good luck!

None of the above. Try a good salon only product instead I'd recommend Paul Mitchell, slightly more expensive but the are miles better and last longer. All those you mentioned put a coating on your hair to make it appear soft and shiney, but imagine what happens when that coating builds up so much it starts flaking off?!? Before I got into hairdressing I thought I had dandruff, but it was those awful products!

I surely have 2 buddies that are cosmotologists and that they the two say do no longer USE PANTENE because of the fact it coats a wax on each and each strand of your hair which isn't permitting it to surely be healthful yet thats why it is going to experience so vibrant and delicate, from the wax of direction. surely use Head and Shoulders till now Pantene and your hair would be much extra useful off getting or staying healthful.

I think each person finds a certain shampoo better than any other. They all are quality controlled which is the important thing you look for. I prefer head &shoulders with mint, then herba essences (rich foam)
