i have never had a boyfriend?

im 13 and i have never had a boyfriend. i feel really sad about this. i feel unattractive and it hurts to know other people find u unattractive. i try to be nice to everyone and im not really mouthy i just keep my head down really. is anyone else in a similar position??

No I am not really in the same position as you and I am an adult. But let me tell you something I remember I felt the same way when I was 13 when all my friends were going out with guys and I wasn't b/c no guy would ask me out. If a guy doesn't like you for you it isn't worth stressing over it. You shouldn't have to ask out a guy either they should ask you out. There will always be somebody out there who will look at you and want to be with you for who you are. I mean you don't have to go out and buy makeup just so you can be someone your not. Although, other guys are looking to get into your pants they still want a girl who is not easy. Guys also like girls who are natural and don't wear all that makeup b/c when that makeup comes off they won't so pretty after all. My advice to you is when you are not looking, love will find you.

ur only 13!!!! it's not like ur a spinster!!! i was incredibly lonely and sad all through middle and high school. felt like no one would ever want me or love me. i was part-right. i didn't go out on my first "date" with my first bf until i was 23, don't feel bad!! when the time is right, the time is right. i felt ugly and unattractive all my life. i was shy and wouldn't approach anyone. but my time came and so will yours. i now have a beautiful little girl and and ex-bf who keeps trying to get me back. i actually found out in the end, that it's quite alright to be alone. and now, i'm not shy like i used to be, but i still don't have a bf and don' really date. but i am asked out quite a bit and told that i am beautiful by a lot of people. i feel good about myself and where i am in my life emotionally. you should too. once you do, things just might turn around for you!!

Keep studying Emily and stay in school. Don't feel sad. At this age you should be glad that you are not having to experience the problems of grown-up type relationships. You are not missing anything by being 13 young and single, as you should be. Hold your head up Emily, you don't have a thing to be ashamed of.

Well it doesnt mean that someone finds you unattractive. My friend Alex is going through the same thing but he is just shy and not open So that could be why... Try talking to people more.

thats not unusuall at all 13 is young and u wont keep any bf's at that age anyway u will porobly only get hurt if u do. so dont worry bout it

heyy i`m 13 too ; ive had a boyfriend in 4th & 5th gradee but i dont really call that boy friends because aht that age you don`t even no whut a boyfriend is all about . i could`ve had like 3 boyfriends so far but i turned them down because i didn`t really think i like them too much. don`t feel unattractive, believe in yourself like i do. say that your cute & sexy & all those things !!!!! don`t everr say ur ugly because someone might believe it . & my advice to you is juss flirtt with guys ! it works they likee you like that it`s soo easyyyyyyyy . =] well i hopee i helped ♥
