Im 13 years old, 5 1/2"( five feet one and a half inch), and 119 POUNDS!!! Im always feeling FAT! PUDGY! I just once want to put on a pair of jeans or something, and not feel selfconcious. I like to eat. And i admit im kinda lazy, BUT I do like excercising But only in my room or in my own backyard. can someone please tell me some tricks or some tips on how to lose weight FAST!!!!!!!!!

No, I don't think you are overweight. At your height you could weigh considerably more than you do, and still not be considered overweight. Talk to your parents about how you feel.

I know it is hard at your age to think this way, but try to focus on health and nutrition and don't worry about the weight. If you are fairly active and eat nutritiously, weight will take care of itself.

Eat well. Stay active. Go for lots of walks with your friends. Drink lots of water. Cut out junk food, fast food, and soda.

Hey, it's almost New Years. What a great time to make a resolution to lose weight! I wish you the best of luck in it.

You really have to look at two areas of your life and adjust them to match your goals:

* Diet
* Exercise

You simply can't get around these two facts. You have to consume fewer calories than you burn each day to loose weight. So if you don't change your diet, then you'll have to exercise more. Frankly, it's easier to adjust both things. Eat less, or eat smarter and exercise moderately. You don't have to go overboard. A 20 minute walk around the block is exercise.

Find someone who can share the goal with you. Another overweight friend who will walk with you. That helps a lot. You can encourage each other.

hunny, ur not fat. Trust me. Being under 120 makes u healthy. If you really feel overweight, change your diet by cutting out unhealthy things, and doing light excerisize a few times a week. Elsewise, ur fine. There is no fast way to lose weight, unless u do dangerous and unhealthy things, which will only last a short time, and ull gain it back and more.

First of all 119 lb is not overweight! It's called baby fat which should go away by itself if you dont overindulge in fast food and doritos and at least try to participate completely in your P.E. class at school. That should be enough for now.

Amputation is always effective for fast weight loss

Beyond that, you're looking to lose 1-2 pounds a week max. Anything faster than that and you're gonna gain it all back... FAST.

You are doing a lot of growing at 13 . . . don't diet, eat sensible foods, exercise, and don't worry about your weight so much. Walking is the best exercise ever.
