I think I need to hone my social skills around women. I'm an attractive guy but I admit I don't have the most experience around them. One of my short comings is that I can't just walk up and strike a conversation. In fact, I don't hold a conversation too well.
The weirdest thing is that I'm very fluent and engaging in my mind, like when I'm typing on IM or whatever. I'm the type who can write what I feel but I freeze up around women and honestly, I don't feel like myself. I often ask myself, what's wrong with me??
What kind of things can I do to improve my social skills and feel more comfortable towards women? This problem is eating away at me. Please help!!

THE most important thing about talking to chicks is to realize that they love to talk about what they want to talk about, so if you can be funny and ask openended questions, then PAY ATTENTION to what they reply and go from there, you'll be fine.
Confidence reinforces itself, so always remember the past successes and build from there. If you blow it (and you will), just forget about it and try again.
Hang in there guy, it gets easier with time...

Well I think that if you are attractive, then it shouldn't be hard for you. If you can do it on IM, then why not in person? I suggest that you take things slow, don't try to rush yourself into something that you are not comfortable with. If you cant keep a conversation flowing, then maybe you are talking about the wrong thing. Like I had mentioned, be yourself, talk about what you like so that way you are comfortable. There are so many things that I can say, but it would just be too much. All I can say is good luck, be yourself, and take things slow. HAVE Fun!

You are probably not as bad as you think that you are. All you need is a couple of questions or topics that will get the woman to talk from there you will need to: nod in agreement or disagreement, make a couple of graceful interjections, listen, and buy her a latte (or smoothie). This will get you over a few hurdles, but after that you should know them well enough that you will be a little comfortable. Or the lady will know that you are a little shy. Keep the eye contact going (that way she'll know that you are interested-you don't have to stare here down).

You are putting too much pressure on your self, it has to be natural, you can't always act it out in your mine then approach the women, if you see a woman you would like to approach just be yourself, you think you are attractive so use that don't go overboard work on a good smile and a good opening line, take deep breaths before you approach it calms you and when you are calm you are natural.

It's very hard to talk to women and it's easy to get tounge tied and nervous. It's a very high stakes thing - especially if you like the girl and want to go out with her.
It helps a lot to have women friends (women you aren't interested in dating). You can "practice" talking to them and that will help you get used to talking to girls you're really interested in.

aww well if u can t say things b/c u freeze up but u can write then write to them show them the reel u whatever way is best for u!! ne ways many girls like me luv letters from guys!!
