pain in the abdomen? What could be the cause of that?

The pain is tolerable, but constant, burning and is pretty expansive location-wise. It eases overnight and then the moment I put anything in my system, it's back!

This can be one of the many symptoms of IBS where your digestion turns hyper-sensitive. It seems to happen in episodes which last several weeks when your stomach goes into shock as food or drink hits it. Seems to be triggered by some stressful event or intolerance to certain foods, often wheat and dairy.

It depends greatly on where in the abdomen the pain is located and the quality of the pain. You haven't provided this information.

FYI: Based on the limited information, I would certainly not jump to the conclusion that your gallbladder is involved.
