There were 2 border patrol agents here in San Diego that got prison time for taking ILLEGALS across the border in the US border patrols vans and blazers. One was latino, the other one was white. Shows you cant trust no one.

my friend stop and think a bit... which border are they guarding, certainly not canada... now if they are guarding mexico wouldn't it be nice if they could speak spanish so that they just won't open up on full auto because of an error in language. Also if you check most border guards are not hispanic just some and the ones who are not are usually professional enough and polite enough to learn to speak spanish thereby guarding our wonderful neighbors from the south from any miscommunication and death by lead poisoning

Are you referring to the border patrol agents working the USA Canada border? Sorry, to answer your question, seriously, have you heard about the fox guarding the hen house? There have been numerous border patrol agents arrested, tried and jailed for taking money from illegal immigrants to turn their backs as the illegals cross into US soil.

To be a Border Patrol agent you should be bi-lingual (Spanish/English or French/English) Hispanics are most likely to be bi-lingual. There are a lot of anglo agents who are also bi-lingual.

First, because legal immigrants and their families hate the posturing of illegals and don't even want to use the word "immigrants" to describe them. Their actions are demeaning to legal immigrants, especially those from Latin countries.
Second, the language and cultural associations are very valuable at the border, nu?

I didn't know they were. Maybe its because there is a large Hispanic population by the border.
