I am not sure if you would call it improving, but there certainly is more people killing each other now in Iraq than when Saddam Hussien was in power.

It doesn't appear to be the way the media presents it to us. I have grown increasingly less confident that anything good is happening in Iraq, but how can I know for sure since it seems like the media only presents one side of it? Aren't we also over there also building schools, hospitals. power plants, etc? Why is it the media never wants to fill us in on this? To answer your question, NO I don't think Iraq is improving based on what I see on TV and in the news, but I feel like maybe I'm not getting the full story.

Wow,the Iraqi people love our troops more then the Americans posting to this question. Having a voice and a vote is always better then not. Wearing shoes for the first time was a big change for many Iraqi children. That sand is hot!

The war in Iraq is going exactly as the people who organized the war want it to go, they want it to be in a state of civil war, they never intended to leave, they will / already have set up permanent base there.

Its not improving. Where before there was hate in peoples faces, now I see rage. One can deal with hate as it has origins that can be addressed. But rage puts reason to bed. I can only ask when we will admit that civil war exists and has for sometime.

NO! It is now in civil war. Our presence has only made things worse and ended the lives of so many troops and civilians needlessly. The death toll just keeps mounting.
