Absolutely do not bleach your hair again unless you want to end up with tufts of hair! I doubt your hair can take the stress of another peroxide job. It sounds to me as though your hair is very porous, which is why the dye keeps fading. Dry, porous hair is a known side effect of bleaching, unfortunately.

I would do what many here have recommended - go to a hairdresser to get your hair re-dyed. Ensure that the hairdresser puts in all the shades when she dyes your hair. For example, I read somewhere that before bleached hair can be dyed brunette again, the hairdresser should apply a red colour first because bleaching strips out all the red undertones. If your hairdresser has never done this, this explains why your colour keeps fading.

While you are at the hairdresser, ask about deep conditioning treatments. These will not repair your hair - once your hair is bleached, it is bleached and all that damage is done - but it will improve the texture of your hair, meaning that the dye is less likely to fade as quickly.

The second thing you need to ask the hairdresser is what you should do to keep your hair colour vibrant. They should be able to give you some industry tips.

I wish you luck with this. Whatever you do though, do not bleach it again and I would hesitate to use home dyeing kits too. As soon as you have a decent amount of regrowth, think about cutting your hair into a short, gamine style. If you can't live with this, think about investing in a decent wig until your hair grows back. Or buy yourself some trendy hats...

The only thing i could suggest is go to a solon and get a color restoration done. I mean it will cost you some money, bu this is your hair. I use to try to save money by dying my own hair but now I just get it done. I also can tell you if you go to a professional to get your hair done make sure they know all the brands of hair color you have used some of the at home brands will cause problems for the solon because of the chemicals that are in them, Nice and Easy is good culprit for that

I have dyed my hair blonde twice and the only hair colour that doesnt fade when I dye it back to brown is schwarzkopf igora you can get it from sallys, get the igora developer 20 volume aswell and mix equal parts. I promise you your colour won't fade again. If you want to go blonde again.. my advice is don't, its not worth the damage and maintenance! Good luck.

i had a similar disaster only im blonde & went dark haha .. garniers 100% color worked great for me .. it gives you great color without the drying (it has no amonia & thats what causes your hair to dry out) also make sure your hair is dirtyy but doesnt have hairspray or gel in it. the oils help protect your hair & scalp. plus the hair color is only about $5 - $8 depending on where you go. i love my hair now. & get a color protecting shampoo & deep conditioner to help keep your hair soft & healthy. herbal escenses color me happy .. thats my favvv. =)

STOP coloring your hair.
heat up some olive oil and put it in your hair, wrap it in saran wrap and a towel and then let it sit.
afterwards wash your hair with shampoo twice.
that'll help your hair from the damage you've caused it.
then wash and condition it liek normal for a month.
then maybe try coloring it again.
if you color it too much you can probably make your hair die and fall out.

You can keep using peroxcide if you want to keep it blonde.

Head and shoulder's does NOT strip all of the color. It's impossible 'cause there's not enough chemicals to strip the color and if it does strip the color, that just means that you'll be totally blonde.
