Everytime I decide to cook (which is once in a blue moon) my boss asks me to bring her a plate. But she takes a bite and that's it, she wont eat it anymore. I know it does not taste bad, because everyone else likes my cooking. Then again she is one of the pickiest person I've met. So next time I decide on cooking, how do I tell her that I am not bringing her a plate, because she's ungrateful and throws my food to waste. Why does she even bother in asking me for a plate?? I think it's messed up that she does this ALL the time.

I don't understand. Is this at a work party, or a party at your house? Either way, you have to realize that some people don't eat a lot. If she asks you to get her a plate next time, put less amount of food in it. Once I went to someones house and she poured SO much food in my plate, that when she left the room, I tried to put some back into the dish (before I took a bite of course.) I'm just not a big eater.

i imagine that's truly how that's provided and relies upon upon your courting w/ your boss. in the adventure that your boss is calling in a way which will be interpreted as hinting that they pick therefore far you - it really is inappropriate. yet in the adventure that they are purely curious, or comprehend that you've purely those days divorced and are being encouraging or inspite of the actuality that, it really is a distinct tale.

next time do not bring her a plate. just bring her "a small tasting" --wrapped up in a nice plate. she will get the hint and you will solve your big problem. hope it helps.

How very strange that she asks for your cooking. Bring her a very tiny portion. Or better yet, never advertise that you are cooking.

give her a children's portion or just say there wasn't any left - you should feel good about what you do for other people and do it for your own reasons - not feel required to do it. but if she finds out that there was extra she may hold a grudge - and that's not good for someone who is your boss... i think the win win is the smaller portion

Tell her you gave up cooking for lent, or that you got a dog and all he eats is your cooking.

Do not be afraid to ask her why she is throwing it away. You don't have to appear rude or hurt. Just ask her that you would like to know what was wrong with it. Point out that others like it.

are you cooking at work?
or are you bringing food from home?

...if you're at work making food for evryone, then it's rude to exclude her from the meal.....
if you're bringing food from home, you're not obligated to bring her anything.....just tell her you only had enough leftovers for a plate for yourself
