Here's the key...you can't MAKE anyone anything (happy, sad, mad, etc). People are responsible for their own happiness...you can do things you hope will add pleasure to someone's life, but you can't "make" them feel an emotion.
Stop trying so hard to do the impossible...if you don't feel he appreciates you, then talk to him about it...COMMUNICATE. Perhaps he's letting you know he appreciates you, but in non-verbal ways...or perhaps he expects words from you, and doesn't notice the cooking/cleaning as much.
Try reading "The Five Love Languages" (I forget the author, you can look it up)...it's great for explaining how people show one another what they like and their appreciation, but sometimes someone who uses a different "language" doesn't see it.

Guys tend to become like this with time. EVERY GUY I've ever dated has come to the point where it may seem like they dont appreciate me. Its not what you can do for him, cuz you are doing everything you can do... Its the fact that you need to tell him he isnt treating you with appreciation and that he should do so! You want to be told thank you for cooking, I appreciate you doing this. Its the small things in life that make WOMEN feel better, he is obviously doing fine if he isnt complaining. TRUST ME... If something was wrong... HE would be telling you! So since he's not, thats a good sign. But since something is bothering you, TELL HIM!

Stop trying to make someone else happy. It's impossible. Just pull way back and focus on yourself until he notices, then have a chat.

Maybe if you went out and bought a playstation, or xbox or something and a game that he would enjoy and play it with him, if he's in to that type of thing. Just tell him you love him too.

Talk to him, tell him how you feel. Tell you you are trying so hard to make him happy and it feels like everything you do its not enough. Tell him you love him and to tell you if there is something wrong with him. Maybe something bothers him or he has problems. Also try to sorprise him one day. Make a romantic night.

Sex whenever he's in the mood - and in all three ways (regular, BJ's and "through the back door").
Note I said "Whenever he's in the mood" - no "headaches" no "I'm tired" no "I'm on my period" but "whenever he's in the mood" even if you AREN'T
That and good home cooked meals should do the trick.

Be your own self, STOP trying to live just for him to please, lead your own life, geez! I could go on and on. My guy is happier when I do small things for him and alot for myself to make me happy and less stressful.

Stop doing all this stuff for awhile. Maybe he will see all that you do and not take you for granted.
