I do, but I want to know other peoples oppinion on things. I believe they did because if they didn't Eve would have probably known that the snake was evil.

No, Eve did not "need" to know that the snake was evil, she already "knew" that God said 'do not eat' of the tree.

It is possible that man could communicate with the animals-how"- I don't know.

It was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That wasn't really a snake talking but a powerful spirit creature Satan the Devil. To get his point across he had to come up with something. God had told her not to eat it or she would die.
Now if your parents said, "don't eat that it is poison you will most certainly die." wouldn't you be a little hesitant?

Everything that happened wasn't recorded but it stands to reason he was a snake and he was talking and he wanted her to eat it. So God would cast her off and she would worship him.

So first he ate it! To prove it was safe. then he said, Now I can talk and I am only a lowly snake, just think what it will do for you?
If someone told me those Barrie's are not safe to eat, I'm not eating them until I see them eat it. If they live, then I would try it wouldn't you? So it isn't hard to imagine what he did.
If the other animals could talk it would hardly have worked for Satan, so no I don't think the animals are different today than they were then.

I probably shouldn't answer this question since I don't believe in sin or most Christian things, but here's my two cents anyways.
From a Christian pov, I guess that could make sense. However, if they didn't know of good and evil yet, how could she have possibly known that the snake was evil?

Besides, animals can talk, they just don't speak a human language. Plus, humans are technically animals, and we talk.

You can't be serious...

Animals DO have the ability to communicate to others of their own kind, just like we do...but it is a bit fanatical to believe they talk just like us with complex languages and our words...

I believe the animals, as a whole, could not. The serpent was special, in that he was the devil.

Animals still talk, we just do not understand their language.
