If you don't believe your doctor is able to diagnose your illness correctly ask for a referral to a specialist and keep at it til they find the problem. Unfortunately stomach pains could be a variety of illness. If it were an ulcer changing your diet would provide some relief.
Try keeping a food diary of what you ate and drank and what days and times you felt ill and describe your symptoms. It may help the doctor diagnose you quicker.
I wish you a speedy recovery.

my stomach gives me problems all the time. When i thought i had an ulcer they gave me an upper GI test and took alot of x-rays and i had to drink barium. Turns out i produce an abnormal amount of stomach acid. they gave me 300mg of zantac to take twice a day. I've tried that and aciphex. I like the aciphex because you only have to take it once a day.
but yeah ask for an upper GI test. It's a fun one! it's like an amusement park ride!

Ask for an ultrasound on your stomach. It will show a clearer picture of what is going on inside. I can't believe your doctors have not done that yet. Keep on them until they diagnose the problem.

I hope you get to feeling better really soon!
