The most important thin to avoid with long faces is long straight pieces on the sides of your face. If you like the occasional pony tail then keep the hair pushed back out of the face ( around your ears). As far as over all length. Try to create ovals in your face and body. If your body is a long oval the the hair should be a long oval. But if you like to show off your height (which is sexy) then shorter is better. Just try to avoid looking like a Q-Tip

I'm 5'11" and I have shoulder length wavy hair. My favorite style to embrace is a little longer than chin length and face framing pieces. If you're daring enough, though, a super short pixie cut really only works on super tall people with long faces (think Mandy Moore ca. 2004).

Yes long hair it the right way to go because if you have short hair it will make your face look longer. Try waterfall curls/candy curls. It's always in style no matter what.

I prefer hair that will is shoulder length or longer, And since that men who like women are more often then not directly, they like long hair because this looks more feminine, as most males have short hair.

well if you have medium hair right now then i suggest cutting off to the side bangs(not too short)and deep layers.if u have curly hair then maybe put moose in it after brushing but straightening is best.if you have straight flat hair just brush it very well (we're still with the offside layered haircut)then rub moose in your hands and just lightly fluff your hair up./hope u like it!
