It is easy to love those who agree with us but, our enemies we still fight with. I am guilty of that. Please forgive me.

It always brings a tear to my eye to think of Christ on the cross, those evil men and women cursing and mocking Him. And He lifts His head to heaven and with weak breathes He says "Father, forgive them. They know not what they do!"

God give us all strength to be as loving as YOU!

You are right, it is difficult to agree with people, but having the same ideas and loving someone are not the same thing. I probably fight more with those I am close to (eg: family, friends, etc) because familiarity breeds contempt. But it doesn't mean that I don't love them. I don't like to think of anyone as an enemy, just because my ideas are not the same as theirs. I try to open my mind to all points of view, but sometimes it is impossible to agree with others. I don't, however, attempt to change the mind of anyone I meet. People are entitled to their opinions. That is what makes this country so great. We don't have to lynch people just because they don't think the way we do. I think that is wonderful. Because I would probably get lynched for my ideas.

And God will forgive you so long as you are truly sorry. And work on fixing the problem.
God bless!

Press closer and closer to His heart. When you are so close you can hear His heartbeat for you, you will be transformed-there is no going back. Once you receive a real revelation of Jesus love for you-you alone! You cannot hate you cannot contain the love that He fills you with.

Seek His face every day. Go wherever prayer is the richest and most worshipful and stay there as long as possible. Press close to Him and His people.

Longfellow said this: He who has a 1000 friends, has not one to spare. One who has 1 enemy, will find them everywhere.

It is an issue of attitude, and acceptence for people with whom we have a difference opinion.

What do you say about evil: crimes against humanity?

i think we are all guilty of that no matter what our religion ...
but we can only try to improve our self
however even as a non Christian i am finding that more and more i am able to see past any hurt someone causes me , and to love them despite their actions towards me ... because i try to see their hurt and pain that would cause them to act in such a way

I'll join in that one. But I can't be forgiven because I don't believe in God. I'm a long way from the person I want to be, though.

You are right. Jesus said: 'not all who call me lord, lord, will enter the kingdom, only those who do the will of my Father'.

Hello sweet Midge.. :)

I am sure if you have offended anyone, they will forgive you.. :)

If and when we stay close to Jesus and His teachings..we shall not stumble.. :)

For let us remember: 2 Peter 1

1 Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who have received a faith as precious as ours through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ:

2 May grace and peace be yours in abundance in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

3 His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

4 Thus he has given us, through these things, his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of lust, and may become participants in the divine nature.

5 For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge,

6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness,

7 and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love.

8 For if these things are yours and are increasing among you, they keep you from being ineffective and unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 For anyone who lacks these things is short-sighted and blind, and is forgetful of the cleansing of past sins.

10 Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more eager to confirm your call and election, for if you do this, YOU WILL NEVER STUMBLE... :)

11 For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.

12 Therefore I intend to keep on reminding you of these things, though you know them already and are established in the truth that has come to you.

13 I think it right, as long as I am in this body, to refresh your memory,

14 since I know that my death will come soon, as indeed our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

15 And I will make every effort so that after my departure you may be able at any time to recall these things.

16 For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17 For he received honour and glory from God the Father when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, This is my Son, my Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.

18 We ourselves heard this voice come from heaven, while we were with him on the holy mountain.

19 So we have the prophetic message more fully confirmed. You will do well to be attentive to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

20 First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation,

21 because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

==============================================

Jesus has already forgiven you, for you have confessed Jesus and your sin unto others.. :)

I am here for you sweet little sister.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)
