I am having trouble in francais.

No, I don't. I had some trouble as well when I began learning French, but that is completely normal when you begin to learn a foreign language

YES!!!

I am just trying to learn Spanish, and I am realizing how little I really understand about language. I know how to read, write, and speak English just fine... but I never really understood the meaning behind a lot of what I just know to be true.

Best of luck with the French, hopefully it just gets easier with time!

No, as a native Spanish speaker. And.. it has been an advantage! Conjugation is Russian and German haven't been a problem. And English and Norwegian conjugations... those have been too easy!
