I was going to brake up with my bf bc i didnt believe that i shoud continue to wait for him everytime he was put in jail but now hes getting out soon but my parents arent going to let me see him ne more bc they just found out his real age but what they say has never stopped me before and isnt this time my bf called and we talked bout what we were going to do we r still together and we have decided to stay together but im not for sure if thats what i want i know we can get through this but i dont know if i want to what sould i do?

I know a girl who dated a guy who was in jail sometimes, she ended up having his baby way too young, is raising her alone, and this guy who is not stable keeps coming back into her life even when they dont want him there. he has stabbed her parents for no reason and the only good that ever came out of him in that situation is a beautiful little girl. run away from that guy asap, i agree with everyone else and say it will only get worse.

If you are young enough to still be under your parents control then I think you need to leave this bum alone and find a guy your age without a criminal record. I think you already know that or else you wouldn't have doubts about the relationship.

Uumm...did you say "every time he was put in jail" ? Implying he has a track record of being put in jail? I'm willing to bet its not for traffic tickets. I've known guys like this and it never ceases to amaze me how clueless chicks seem to think they can't live without them. He's not going to change it's going to get worse and it's going to go from waiting for him to get out of jail to waiting for him to get out of prison...while raising his child. Trust me when I say you can do better.

If this man just got out of jail and is more than likely to go back in, stay away from him. I know plenty of dumb girls who date guys or marry guys in prison and they are exceptionally unhappy. Listen to your parents.
