Boy, can I ever relate to that! When I was 13, that was me. I was called everything from Fat Albert to Santa Claus, and some things I can't even repeat! Unfortunately, son, losing weight takes work...a lot of work. What I can do for you is to refer you to a website that helps you lose weight, eat right, and it's all FREE! I'm a member of this site, as I'm still working off the weight. Let me tell you this now, lose it while you're young, 'cause fat gets tougher to lose when you get older. It doesn't want to let go without a LOT of effort. Okay, this site is called SparkPeople.com. There's everything you'll ever need to lose weight successfully, and completely, if you follow their guidelines. There are also groups you can get involved with, and message boards, so that you'll get the support you need as you lose the weight. You'll be able to find a group that fits who you are, even the fact that you're 13. There's lots of different groups, and they all have the same problem you do...weight. Again, it's free. It even shows you how to do the exercises. Being a guy of 13, if you can just get out and get lots of exercise, you should be able to drop your weight in a few months. Guys can lose it easier than girls 'cause guys have more muscle, which burns more calories. So, go shoot hoops, bike, hike, swim or do some other physical activity. Limit yourself to only an hour a day in front of the tube, as that does nothing for your body. Before you know it, you'll be lookin' good! <*)))><

Just cut back on what you are eating. You don't have to starve yourself. Just don't eat junk food. Be a little be more active. Just be confidante in your self and the girls will find you.
Good Luck.

at your age a "diet" is probably not the best idea. There's a program called "Wellspring Adventure Camps" which might be able to help you if you are REALLY dedicated to getting healthy... let me get the links...
http://www.louieskids.org/ (scholarships if your parents can't afford to pay)
http://www.wellspringcamps.com/ (the website)
Talk to your parents about your options to get healthier. Exercise more, eat more fruits and vegitables, etc. Best wishes!
