he calls me and wants to see me but he does not want to get bsck together.he says he does not want a relationship because he does not want to be heart again.How can I persuade him that I can make him happy???

Tell him that you are very sorry that you hurt him. I don't know what happened to make your relationship go bad...but I know that if I was dating a guy and we broke up for whatever reason I wouldn't want to hurt him. That would make me hesitate to break up with him. Maybe you could point out whatever difference that broke you up is now resolved. Tell him also that you could start out very slow as friends and then get to the dating stage evenutally. If you really love this guy you will be willing to take as long as it takes to win him back. I am going through the same thing as you are. Do you blame yourself? Do you want him back because you are afraid of the future without him? Is your identity based on being a wife, mother, etc? These are questions I ask myself because they are important. I want to go home! I want to reconcile and like you my guy says I hurt him too much and he needs time to heal. I've tried persuading him to reconcile and every time I do it makes things worse. He wants time to heal and I see now I have no choice but to grant that. It hurts, I cry, I'm always in heartache and depression. Maybe like me, you can give him some time and think about your life. I hope you will reconcile if this is what you truly want and I have no reason to doubt you.
I am truly sorry you are in this situation.

that's like the situation i'm i n right now like i don't want to be with him but i don't want anyopne else to be with him either
