Interior Decorating deals with colors, fabrics and furniture.
Interior Design deals with everything inside of the exterior shell of the building (commercial Design) or every thing external and internal of the building (residential Design). Interior Designers design wall placements, construction details, spatial relationships, building codes, Ada requirements and everything that a decorator does. They have a formal education along with passing state tests and some are members of professional organizations such as ASID.

diseño interior es decorar los espacios internos de manera que evoquen ambientes en particular. por ejemplo, si quieres decorar al estilo rustico buscas objetos texturas y colores que trasnmitan eso. tambien puedes transformar ytransportar con tu decoracion a algun momento de la historia. sorry i can't wrote very well in english but i try.
