does anyone know what this years car registration letter for the UK is?
And what will next years Registration Letter be?
Im buying a new car this year or after Xmas and need to find out what the registration will be to get a car insurance quote before buying it etc.......

It changes twice a year.
this years is 06 and 56.
next year will be 07 and 57.

At the moment it is 56. From March it will be 07, and then in october it will be 57

To buy one for Xmas it will the reg 56, the 07 reg will be available in March

This you cannot do, until you are aloted a regestration number, garages who sell new cars will have a selection for you to choose from , they will then tax it for you ready for you to drive away.anyway it should start with J something
