It will actually look cute and flirty with the right layering effect(scissor angle) and good products that wont weigh it down...I have curly hair and its layered..I love it because when its curly its all cute and carefree curls and when i straighten it the layers are nice and defined flip it bump it under curl it back and fabulous body I dunno I love it...that is when I get energy to fight with it...mine's thick b/c i'm mixed soooo....thats a never ending battle in humid southern weather at times good luck

Yes, but you want to go with long layers to weigh down the hair a bit (too short and it will get puffy). Layers are a good way to get some of the bulk out (but again, just a few and long layers). Good luck!

Yes you can. Sounds like i have the same hair as you, its not silky wavy but kind of poofy. You could get layers and get a flat iron and straighten it, I think you'd really like it, if you havent tried that already.

yes, but the layers will create volume, because the top layers are lighter. it will create even more volume the more curly your hair is.
you should probably go with longer layers, to avoid your hair being TOO poofy.

i have straight hair and i have my hair cut into layers. because it looks more natural when i curl it.

Okay what you do is you cut your hair to right above your shoulders then you go to beauty salon (anyone will do) so you ask if they have products for frizz ( which they normally do) and once you cut your hair you take a small curling iron and curl out the bottoms good idea huh?

yes, layers often look good with that type of hair. using an anti-frizz gell will help excentuate your waves and cut down on spaz, layers give your hair hot volume :)

Yes, but it cant be too frizzy.
Also, the layers cant be more than two inches apart if your hair is less than down to your armpits.

yeah they wont be as noticeable as someone with straight hair but when you but it up in a ponytail everyone would see the layers and when you straighten your hair it would look very nice and pretty!!!
