Not personally, brother did get 2 moons in jail accused of driving drunk, he turned the car and mounted the kerb and parked fine, 2 traffic wardens witnesed this, as well as family who lived above us. One hour later the police arrived brother had third bottle of beer was asked to refrain from drinking for 20 mins and take breathaliser test which he failed, arrested and breathalised in station 15-20 mins later his reading was exactly on border another reading was taken that put him 15ml over the limit yet no more alcahol had been consumed. Brother felt terrible as he didn't understand why reading increased also being jailled for the first time (which i found ammusing) was shocking. He now has a very low opinion of the police in our area which he thought were honest. I felt terrible for his situation, then a strange situation arose regarding myself and the above neighbours as we were having a drink and talking about what had happened, their uncle arrived unanounced,it turned he stayed doors away from the judge who would be involved in the case, the lawer representing my brother came to the neighbours as they had won money in a charity raffle of which he was involved in. The uncle and lawer spoke as old friends, my brother was home within a few hours when the case came to court a few months later the judge got very angry with the prosecution they had no wittnesses present and his temper flared when they admited to losing all documentation. The case was thrown by the judge, my brothrer had no charges against him, the local paper had a feild day regarding the prosicution teams errors & excuses

Personally speaking, no, but I am sure there are innocent people in jail, because of frame ups, or because of the efforts of an over zealous ADA.
