Jesus did not have white skin and his hair was not straight and brown. He was middle eastern, a poor carpenter, and an average looking guy. He wasn't glamorous. Back then, the skin color of the middle east was a lot darker. Today, they have mixed blood.

Considering the place and nature of his birth he was shorter and probably much darker skin color that what is normally seen in paintings. Most of the paintings were consigned and paid for by the early Roman Catholic Church so obviously the many painted versions of jesus is a very European version.

I am sure most accepted pictures of Christ portray him with beauty since most do not like to look at someone plain. He would have resembled the Jewish people of that point in time and we would be attracted to His Words and love.

Jesus would have resembled those from the middle eastern region. He most definitely was not the long haired, robed, white man we all picture him to be.

No He would not look like the pictures on walls in this country. Actually the bible states that he was not overly attractive.Its not His looks that we follow, its Him

I don't have a picture, but no.He was Jewish and not handsome.I figure He was a bit muscular from working as a carpenter.

the only picture on my wall is of the grim reaper--he probably did look like that after he'd been decomposing for a while

a pretty good guess that he wasnt a white guy with blue eyes and light straight hair like every pic I have see since I was a kid.
