Illinois is a pretty big state...it takes like 10 hours to drive from top to bottom so we really need to know what area you are in.

Could you go to a State park? There are a lot of State parks in Il. Do you know someone who lives in IL? You could possibly have it in their backyard. In Southern Il there is a cross and it is very pretty you can look out and the view is breathtaking. I think that it would be cool to be married there. Good luck.

if you're in the chicago area...promontory point. My cousin got married there over memorial day weekend and it was boiling out. if you do get married there make sure you hand out flip flops. My ivory pants were black on the bottom from walking in the mud.
