Aftermarket performance air filters. The best I've seen come from
K & N. Just drop it in and go. You could also look at the fuel stations you typically go get refilled at. Are they top tier? Top tier fuel is the gas that car companies recommend and use on their products. If your buying from some mom & pop shop fuel station the fuel quality can change the mileage factor on your Mustang.

use a aftermarket air filter such as K&N. They help increase gas mileage by allowing the engine to breathe easier. Also be sure that your engine is properly tuned and you use a good grade gasoline.

P.S. gtstang46......... all gasolines now contain 10% ethanol under U.S.Government regulations.

stay away from gas pumps that are labeled "Contains 10%ethanol" or "May contain 10% ethanol" and keep your foot out of it. I have a 2002 gt that I am getting on average 27MPG out of on the highway. performance mods include the K&N that did nothing for me. BBK headers, MAC exhaust and a Diablo program in the PCM

all gas is the same except for amoco ultimate. It ALL comes through the same pipeline and then it is mixed with the stores brand of additives. Try a K&N or change your driving habits or just park the car
